Peabody Properties, Inc. (PPI) proudly celebrates a milestone with their participation in utility and state-funded energy conservation programs – now exceeding $10 M in no-cost energy efficiency upgrades for their managed-portfolio since 2012! Upgrades include high-efficiency lighting, refrigerators and boilers, with some properties receiving water upgrades and no-cost weatherization. Our Facilities Operations “champions”, Mark Regan, Mark Dubos, Jim Lyons and Liz Tracey are at the helm of this energy saving initiative and, they all have received their CGPM designations from NAHMA. These no-cost energy efficient upgrades affect approximately 7,000 units in our company’s portfolio, including communities who have received NAHMA’s “Communities of Quality” designation, namely Bedford Towers, Blue Elm United Estates, Borden Place, Cardinal Medeiros Manor, Carter Heights, Dorchester House, Fairhaven Village, Fieldstone Apartments, Framingham Green, John Boyle O’Reilly, Market Mill, The Moorings at Squantum Gardens, Mt. Pleasant, Pynchon / Edgewater, Rita Hall, School House Properties (Brookledge Cummins & Kenliworth Williams) and Victory Gardens.
PPI’s Facilities Operations “champions” are excited about the progress achieved, and look forward to new opportunities for utility-funded programs in the coming months.
