NEAHMA hosted its Annual Kid’s Day event at Canobie Lake Park in Salem NH on Wednesday, July 12th with 500 youth and adults in attendance. This annual event celebrates youth who reside in the affordable housing developments throughout New England and are members of NEAHMA.
By participating in the NEAHMA Regional Poster Contest for the NAHMA Drug-Free Calendar, the youth are invited to attend Kid’s Day each year.
Over the last five years NEAHMA has had over 1,000 youth attend the Annual Kid’s Day Events, and ages range from five years-old to 18-years-old. This year we had a record number of Property Management companies participate with over 20 Property Management sites across Massachusetts and Rhode Island participate.
By participating in NEAHMA’s Kid’s Day the youth spent a full day riding the rollers coasters and various rides, playing games, laughing with each other, and experiencing a great day that they may not have the opportunity to have otherwise.
A great time was had by all and memories were made. NEAHMA cannot wait to see where we go and celebrate next year!
