Team NEAHMA and the Charity Committee have been very successful this year, with our charitable efforts and support from NEAHMA members.
The Charity Committee visited the Greater Boston Food Bank in March and May. In March we sorted over 6,000 lbs. of food, and in May we participated in the Brown Bag program for elderly housing, where they were delivered to Lynn, MA.
Through the year we have been collected items for #packedhope Initiative collecting
in-kind travel items and backpacks for homeless women. We have been receiving a lot of support at our trainings and we look forward to receiving even more. NEAHMA has been able to donate over 300 small items and over 60 backpacks this year so far.
Throughout the month of May and June we held our Annual Summer Toy Drive for Elizabeth Stone House. We collected donations at the Gillette Seminar on May 18 and NEAHMA Trainings. Thank you to our largest contributor Peabody Properties, Inc. of Braintree, MA. With their help we were able to donate over 200 summer-time toys and supplies.

We appreciate all the items as do the recipients.
