Trainer: Scott Ployer
Sadly, we are all aware that workplace violence is now part of our everyday lives. It seems that nearly every time that we turn on the television, listen to the radio, read a newspaper, or receive an e-News blast on one of our hand-held devices, that we often hear that it happened again. This workshop has been developed to provide some clarity on how to detect, and address workplace violence.
We will review the following:
- Understand and recognize OSHA guidelines as they apply to protecting America’s workforce from workplace violence.
- Define workplace harassment, bullying, workplace violence, and their impacts.
- Identify behaviors and potential risk factors that can be experienced in multifamily housing.
- How to identify, manage, and avoid workplace violence situations
- How to create a risk assessment and develop relevant policies and procedures
