NAHMA, the National Affordable Housing Management Association and NAAEI, the National Apartment Association Education Institute offer the CGPM™, Credential for Green Property Management to their members nationwide. Based on green building principles and best practices set forth by the HUD Office of Affordable Preservation – OAHP, these established guidelines are taught by a variety of OAHP approved organizations and trainers.
 
The course curriculum that was specifically developed by Scott Ployer, CPM®, MFE, NAHP-e, CGPM, President & CEO of NPMSG, LLC, National Property Management Strategies Group, LLC has been presented many times across the country since 2020. Its content meets or exceeds the minimum requirements that are set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Topics of the training are consistently being updated to represent the latest information available to best serve the needs of today’s demanding property professionals.

 

The CGPM™ is not restricted to employees of management companies who have opted for an OAHP green restructuring. This credential will also benefit any property owners, affordable or conventional, management firms, onsite management teams including facilities and maintenance leads as well as supervisors of front-line staff in residential communities following Green Operations and Maintenance Practices. The CGPM™ also provides owners and management companies with a mechanism for meeting their initial as well as ongoing commitments to HUD.
