Trainer: Deb Piltch
During this webinar we will:
- Review the legal framework for providing applicants and residents whose primary language isn’t English and who as a result have limited English proficiency (LEP) meaningful access to our housing programs and activities;
- Discuss what our legal obligations mean from a practical standpoint in relation to housing operations: completing applications, conducting recerts, responding to maintenance requests, and resident service programs and activities. Attention will be paid to alternative methods of operation during COVID-19;
- Focus on best business practices and resources available for both oral and written communication, including electronic communication.
