Trainer: Michael Martinez
The Fair Housing Act and Section 504 regulations are complex and far-reaching. NAHMA’s Fair Housing Compliance™ (FHC™) course trains property managers to navigate these regulations, offering clear guidance on fair housing laws. The course includes a comprehensive and practical, downloadable training manual with ready-to-use forms for Section 504 Self-Evaluation and a sample Transition Plan, along with a step-by-step guide for assessing the feasibility of making units accessible.
This one-day program, offered by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA), includes instruction, a review, and a two-hour exam. Passing the exam earns the FHC designation, which is required for NAHMA’s National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) certification. Successful participants will receive an FHC certificate, pin, and be listed in NAHMA’s Online Credential Directory.
