Building Productive and Effective Teams

In effective and productive teams, members know how to best contribute their unique skills and talents to achieve results that individual effort alone can’t reach. As the most critical role in leading the team to achieve their goals, leaders (formal AND informal) must navigate the many components and stages of productive teams. In this training, participants will learn strategies, techniques and specific actions to create successful team dynamics and facilitate results. Some specific topics to be reviewed include: team selection, building trust, facilitating communication, moving past conflict and overcoming challenges.

Tammy brings over 20 years of experience in the organization development, leadership development, training, and coaching fields to her clients. The majority of her clients represent the hospitality, property management, health care and manufacturing industries. Tammy works with clients on a variety of employee engagement needs and topics and enjoys getting to know a client’s unique company culture in order to apply best-fit solutions and practices. Tammy’s professional career included positions in the nonprofit, public and private sectors. Her most recently held positions included Director of Employee Development for a hospitality company and Director of Development and Strategic Planning for a home health care organization, where she was voted Manager of the Year. In addition to her consulting, training and coaching work, Tammy enjoys researching and writing about women’s leadership topics. Her most recent large-scale research project examined gender differences in Core Self Evaluations. Like many professional women, Tammy is a passionate advocate of home and work integration. In her spare time, she loves activities that foster her creative energy. She loves to cook and garden as meditative/mindful techniques and enjoy doodling, painting and writing. Tammy is a life-long resident of New Hampshire and currently resides in Hudson with her husband, Tom and dog, Lucille
